Is Da Vinci Teeth Whitening treatment for everyone?

The Da Vinci Teeth Whitening treatment provides dramatic results for anyone who wants to whiten their teeth. This includes people with teeth that have been stained by smoking or by substances such as coffee or tea. It will also lighten teeth stained by tetracycline, speckled by fluoride, or hereditary discoloration. Pregnant women or clients under 16 years of age should not receive the Da Vinci Teeth Whitening treatment.

Should I consider Da Vinci Teeth Whitening?

Studies have shown that people with whiter teeth look younger and that there is a correlation between high self-esteem and a bright, confident smile.

How white will my teeth get?

After undergoing whitening with the Da Vinci Teeth Whitening System, teeth shades can brighten between five to 14 shades, with an average improvement of five to eight shades on the Da Vinci Teeth Whitening Shade Guide. While individual results will depend on how discolored the teeth were originally, the end result will be brighter, shinier teeth.  Remember, everyone’s teeth are different and your teeth will only go as white as your teeth will go.  Everyone’s teeth have a stopping point.

How long will the whitening last?

This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle, but the effects usually last for about one to three years. Periodic touch-up treatments are recommended for clients who frequently consume products such as coffee, dark soda, red wine, tomato sauce or other products such as tobacco.

Is Da Vinci Teeth Whitening safe?

Yes, our products and equipment are FDA approved and scientific research has shown that the active ingredients in the Da Vinci Teeth Whitening Gels are safe and effective for cosmetic teeth whitening. The dental community has used the same ingredients in teeth whitening for years. The Da Vinci Teeth Whitening Gel does not change or damage the structure of the teeth; it merely lifts and removes the stains, making your teeth brighter and shiny.

How long does the treatment take?

Treatment times are 15 to 45 minutes depending on the discoloration of your teeth.  It takes no longer than the time it would for you to have a haircut or a facial - it is that simple!

What is the difference between Da Vinci Teeth Whitening and teeth whitening performed in the dental office?

The Da Vinci Teeth Whitening System uses the same technology as the dental offices for power whitening and gives you the same great results.  However, Da Vinci’s teeth whitening gels have been specially developed for the cosmetic beauty industry and therefore are non-abrasive.  The procedure has been simplified such that trained aesthetic professionals can now safely perform the whitening procedure.  Designed with the comfort and safety of the client in mind, our treatment is safer, gentler, and produces superior results over other teeth whitening options

Does it hurt?

Most clients experience no pain or sensitivity during or after the treatment. A very small percentage of clients may feel some minor tooth sensitivity, especially if they consume very cold or hot foods or drinks within two hours after the treatment. Therefore it is recommended that clients avoid consuming extremely hot or cold food or beverages for the first two hours following the treatment.

Will Da Vinci Teeth Whitening work on crowns and fillings?

Da Vinci teeth whitening will remove staining from composite materials but will not whiten the crown or filling beyond the original color of the material used.  If you have a crown or filling in your smile line, we would not recommend teeth whitening unless you’re natural teeth are darker than the crown or filling.  Teeth whitening may be an option if you plan to replace the crown or filling after your whitening treatment.
